Nicetec – the exclusive distributor for sales and maintenance of Broadway 3D biometric recognition devices in Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus

Artec ID, a leading manufacturer of professional 3D biometrics and 3D scanning hardware and software, announces that Nicetec company has been appointed its exclusive distributor for sales and maintenance of Broadway 3D biometric recognition devices in Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus.

Artec believes that this decision will make promoting its 3D biometrics solutions even more effective. This agreement represents a new stage in the companies’ long and successful cooperation in promoting Artec solutions to the Russian market.

From November 2015, the delivery of all Broadway 3D biometric recognition devices in Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus and the technical and warranty maintenance will be carried out exclusively by Nicetec and its authorized partners. As the exclusive distributor, Nicetec has embarked on a program aimed at strengthening Artec’s competitive advantages on the Russian biometric solutions market, as well as accessing Kazakh and Belarusian markets.

Broadway 3D is a fast and highly reliable face recognition device. It does not require physical contact, nor do you need to stand in an exact position in front of the device. Broadway 3D provides high throughput - up to 60 people per minute - and can be integrated into any access control system. The system is able to recognize people of different ages and sizes, can work in absolute darkness, is not negatively affected if moved or tilted slightly and recognizes people regardless of glasses, hairstyles or beards. Face recognition works even if the person is moving – you don’t need to stop in front of the turnstile, unlike other biometric systems. Furthermore, the system is highly reliable and fast. The use of Broadway 3D guarantees the authenticity of the person authorized to pass at the checkpoint, prevents intruders from entering via a lost, stolen, or tampered access card, makes the job easier for personnel, minimizes the human factor and reduces the costs for supporting security staff.

Today, the main users of the Broadway 3D system in Russia are: the Federal Protective Service of Russia, The Administrative Department of the President of the Russian Federation, the Property Department of Moscow City Government, Sberbank of Russia, VTB, Gazprom Export, the airports of Sochi and Norilsk, the State Hermitage Museum and the General Staff building, Rosatom (plant Polymetal TVEL) and Moscow endocrine plant.
